Amino acid overview

(Friday, February 17, 2012)

Amino acids are molecules that an amino group, a carboxylic acid group and side chains are specific to each amino acid. Essential elements of the amino acids are carbon, hydrogen, oxygen and nitrogen. They are very important in biochemistry, where this term is usually alpha-amino acids.

Alpha-amino acids from H2NCHRCOOH general formula, wherein R is an organic substituent of the amino groups attached to adjacent carbon atoms bound to the carboxylate groups (the α-carbon). There are other types of amino acids when the amino group attached to carbon atoms, such as the gamma-amino acids are separated (eg gamma-aminobutyric acid) wherein the carbon atom attached to the amino group of the carboxylic groups of the other two carbon atoms. Alpha-amino acids in a variety of different side chains (R groups), alpha-carbon atom is bound, and the size of only one hydrogen atom in glycine to a large heterocyclic group in tryptophan to vary.

Amino acids used as building blocks of proteins, a linear chain of amino acids. Amino acids in different sequences together to form the next connected to a variety of proteins. Twenty amino acids that are naturally incorporated into polypeptides and amino acids or as a standard. These 20 are encoded by the universal genetic code. Nine essential amino acids are called "essential" for humans because they are not of the other compounds produced by the human body, and should be taken as food. See also my article with the title of Amino Acids is Important for human.

Essential amino acids in the diet and are often found in foodstuffs, fertilizers, food technology and industry. In industry, applications include the production of biodegradable plastics, drugs and chiral catalysts.

Vitamins and minerals are not enough for a healthy immune system. no less important is the amino acid supplements.

Everyone knows that the amino acids are the building blocks of proteins.

But did you know:

  • They created a protein that is responsible for almost all of the reactions taking place inside living cells?
  • That, unlike fats and carbohydrates, amino acids can not be stored by the body?
  • That if you miss even one essential amino acid in your diet, your body will break down muscle protein, or other stores to make it?

Nothing? Well, do not have to worry! You are certainly not alone.

At least now you know that the essential amino acids needed to support a healthy immune system.

Let us examine more specifically at the amino-acid supplement that improves your immune system.

There are two types of amino acids:
Essential and nonessential.

Intended is not important is an amino acid our bodies can make it so we do not have to look it up in our food.

Essential means that our bodies can not make it so we need to get it from food or supplements.

Conclusion: So, not just athletes and fitness lovers who need to take supplements Amino, and if you feel the need to increase the Amino Acids, try to obtain from reliable sources such as Amazon.com

This is a review for Optimum Nutrition BCAA 1000mg, this product is not a lot of criticism or complaint from the users, for details please see related review here.

Optimum Nutrition BCAA 1000mg

Nothing to complain about Optimum Nutrition BCAA 1000mg
Really, though, unless I get out my mad scientist chemistry set, how do I know that it's a quality BCAA? I get good results from this supplement.
What I can say is that I have completed with them through the last few months and everything went well. Indeed, I also eat well, work hard, and use vitamins and supplements.

The pills are large but manageable. So unless you have some info that they are a waste (chemical), I'd say it's easy to swallow BCAAs, and a decent value to make sure you get your BCAAs need for exercise recovery.

To obtain optimal benefits of amino acids, I try to provide you with some important recommendations.

1. Amino acids are available in two forms of L and D. Choose a supplement in the form-L because they are more like compositions that are found naturally in foods so it is more easily absorbed and the corresponding human biochemistry.

2. Try to buy your supplements from pharmaceutical companies that implement GMP standards, which comply with the most stringent manufacturing standards. It is very important because it provides you with piece of mind on the issue of security and to know that your products do not contain contaminates and contains an active ingredient on the label.

Finding Benefits of Amino Acids?
Amino acids are divided into two main groups - is important and not important. Nonessential amino acids that do not need, do not need to be grouped because the body can produce its own. Essential amino acids are those which your body can not synthesize their own, and not have to be obtained through diet or supplementation. Eating the right kind of high protein foods such as meat, poultry, fish, beans, nuts, and seeds, is an effective method to achieve a healthy amount of amino acids, but the benefits of supplementing your diet with amino acids your body as well, and can help simplify the process.

To get the Amino / whey protein at a low price but quality maintained, I suggest you to buy it at amazon

Essential Amino Acids Important For Our Health

(Thursday, February 16, 2012)

Amino acids are the building blocks of protein in the body, other than that they also play a role in metabolism. The body can synthesize all amino acids needed to build body proteins, except for the 10 essential amino acids. Essential amino acids must be obtained from the appropriate intake, adequate food such as cereal grains, legumes, dairy products and meat.

The eight essential amino acids are:
Isoleucine - this is one of the essential amino acid that can be found in many foods, but most abundant in fish, meat and cheese, and nuts and wheat. One of its uses for energy production.

Leucine - commonly found in poultry and red meat, although not infrequently be found in dairy products. Essential amino acids can be metabolized to produce energy.

Lysine - the highest amount of essential amino acids derived from fish, meat and dairy products. Lysine serves to help expedite the process of absorption of calcium in the intestinal tract, increases bone growth and formation of collagen.

Methionine - not found in the protein such as beans and peanuts, but can be found in higher numbers of eggs and fish. Methionine in the diet contained less than other essential amino acids.

Phenylalanine - an essential amino acid of this type can be found in meat and dairy products. Considered as one of the essential amino acid because it affects brain chemistry.

Theronine - can be found in meat, dairy foods and eggs, but very few found in nuts, beans and some vegetables. Of essential amino acids, its role is to assist in the formation of tooth enamel protein, elastin and collagen.

Tryptophan - is one of the essential amino acid found in the lower and corn, cereal grains and legumes. Although it can actually be found in meat, dairy products and nuts. It is a precursor to serotonin, which affects mood and sleep. This explains why the turkey, which contains tryptophan, makes everyone sleepy after Thanksgiving dinner.

Valine - an essential amino acid that can be found in nearly all foods and is an important part of the protein. It is considered useful to addiction, but the exact function is unknown. It can be metabolized to produce energy and is a branched chain amino acids. It is also thought that the valine supplements can help to build muscle, and liver and gall bladder disease.
